Broshuis, founded in 1885, is the oldest manufacturer of trailers for special transport and as from day one a 100% family owned business. 

Broshuis is also the inventor of the extendible trailer (1958), the semi low loader (1965), the triple trailer (1999), the triple wing (2000), the multifunctional container chassis (1983) and the 2Connect (2003) just to give some examples. 

Today Broshuis is not only one of the major players in the market for exceptional transport solutions, but also in the containerchassis market.

Annually about 1000 Broshuis trailers find their way to their customers. 

Since 1962 is Broshuis located in Kampen (Netherlands). Started with an area of only 5000m², the plant currently uses 45,000 m². Broshuis has approximately 300 employees primarily working in the headquarters, where the trailers are not only developed but also produced. Besides the factory in Kampen Broshuis has sales offices, agents and service outlets throughout Europe. 

Broshuis has shown a steady growth during its more than 100 years of existing (125 years in 2010), proven to be a stable company. Partly because of this stability is Broshuis a strong and reliable partner for its customers and partners. And that is essential, especially in these uncertain times! Where other manufacturers decided to move their production to low-wage countries, Broshuis has always trusted on Dutch craftsmanship and its reliability. This is reflected in the quality, longevity and reliability of the products and the dedicated, customer orientated employees of Broshuis. 

Since both the development and production of Broshuis trailers are on one facility, Broshuis is not only able to continuously improve its production methods to the highest quality requirements, but it is also able to implant any modifications and / or improvements directly into its engineering and production process. 
Broshuis provides a wide range of extendible hydraulic or non-hydraulic steered platform trailers, low loaders and semi low-loaders and also 2 types of container chassis.
