A Renault Kerax kínálatában öt új Euro5 besorolású motor szerepel. Kitűnő kompromisszumot kínálnak a nagy nyomaték és a kicsi fogyasztás között az alacsony fordulatszámtartományban is. Az új, kettős áttételű hidak és tandemek tökéletesen alkalmazkodnak az országúti és terepes felhasználásokhoz egyaránt. Az alváz terhelési kapacitását belső megerősítésekkel és egy új minőségű acél alkalmazásával növelték meg. Az új mechanikus, illetve robotizált sebességváltók fokozzák a vezető kényelmét, és csökkentik a járművek fogyasztását.

Teljesítmény, vonóerő, robusztusság: ezekkel az erényekkel vértezték fel a legnehezebb felhasználási körülményekhez kifejlesztett Kerax járműveket.

OPTIFUEL SOLUTIONS

Az Optifuel Solutions az üzemanyag-fogyasztás csökkentésére irányuló leghatékonyabb technikák és szolgáltatások együttese. Magába foglalja a tovább tökéletesített hajtásláncokat, az Optidriver+ automatizált, az SCR technikát, az Optifuel Traininget (a gazdaságos vezetésről szóló képzés) és az Optifuel Infomax rendszert.

Renault KeraxÚJ EURO 5 MOTOROK: TELJESÍTMÉNY ÉS NYOMATÉK

Az Euro5 norma szerint kifejlesztett öt új motor a teljesítmények és nyomatékok teljes skáláját lefedi. A DXi11 motor mostantól 380, 430 és 460 LE-s teljesítményekkel , míg a DXi13 motorizáció 480 és 520 LE-s teljesítményekkel rendelhető.

A magas teljesítmény- és nyomatékértékek elérésére kifejlesztett új motorok maximális nyomatéktartománya 350 és 450 ford/perc közé esik, ami kitűnő mozgásképességet garantál a legnehezebben megközelíthető ipartelepeken is.

Renault KeraxA NEHÉZ FELHASZNÁLÁSI KÖRÜLMÉNYEKNEK MEGFELELŐEN OPTIMALIZÁLT HAJTÁSLÁNC

A Renault Kerax kétféle váltóval rendelhető. Az egyik az új, 16-fokozatú ZF Ecosplit 4 mechanikus váltó, amely a motornyomaték és a vonóerő remek összehangolásával tűnik ki. A másik az Optidriver+ automatizált váltó, amely tökéletesen alkalmazkodik a különböző terepekhez, és az esetek több mint 90 százalékában automatikus üzemmódban használható.

A Renault Kerax DXi motorjai alacsony fordulatszámon is jól húznak, ami segít megőrizni a hajtáslánc robusztusságát, elősegítve a fogyasztás csökkenését, és ezzel a jármű üzemeltetési és karbantartási költségeinek mérséklését.

Az ötféle kerékképletnek (4x2, 4x4, 6x4, 6x6 és 8x4) és az egyes szakmák igényeihez igazodó előkészítéseknek köszönhetően, minden építőipari tevékenységhez kialakítható egy Renault Kerax változat. Ezt az alkalmazkodóképességet bizonyítja, hogy a kínálatot 21 teherautó-alváz és nyergesvontató modell, valamint 15 különböző tengelytáv alkotja.

Az alvázat a jármű felhasználásától függően megerősített hossztartókkal látják el, ami rendkívül ellenálló alvázat eredményez minden Kerax változatban.

FELÉPÍTMÉNYEZÉSRE KÉSZ jármű

A szegecselt és csapszegekkel szerelt, a hasznos felület teljes hosszában sík és szabad felületű alváz, az előfuratokkal ellátott hossztartók, a változtatható hátsó túlnyúlás, a számos rögzítési pont és a különböző segédszerkezetek (pl. daruhoz) gyorsan és könnyen felépítményezhető járművé teszik a Renault Keraxot.

The Renault Kerax range is available with five new Euro 5 engines offering an excellent compromise between torque at low engine speeds and economical fuel consumption. Its new drive axles and double reduction tandems make it ideally suited to both on-road and off-road applications. The chassis’ load capacity is increased by interior reinforcement and a new higher quality of steel. The new manual or automated gearboxes enhance driving comfort and optimise fuel consumption.

A VEHICLE ‘READY-TO-BODY’

The chassis, assembled by bolting and riveting, is straight and smooth throughout its entire usable length and features pre-drilled side members, a specific overhang for each application, fixing with brackets and / or plates, plus pre-fittings for various items of equipment (crane, etc). Making Renault Kerax a vehicle on which bodies can be mounted easily and quickly.

PANORAMIC WINDSCREEN - THE WIDE VIEW ADVANTAGE

Renault Kerax is fitted with a wide windscreen giving the driver a broad, unobstructed view. Its side rear windows further extend the field of view by 30°. All of which bring added safety to a vehicle which has to operate on worksites with large numbers of workers on the ground.

 

EASY CAB ACCESS

Available in Day, Global or Sleeper versions, the Renault Kerax cab is made very easy to access by its 90° opening doors with grab handles on either side and well-lit steps.
Climbing into and out of the cab is made easy by three anti-slip steps, including one fold up step in form memory material.

NEW EURO 5 ENGINES: POWER AND TORQUE

 

With five new Euro 5 compliant engines, the Renault Kerax range makes its power and torque offering even more comprehensive. The DXi11 engine is now available with power ratings of 380, 430 and 460 hp.

Designed to provide high power ratings and torques, these new engines deliver maximum torque between 950 and 1,400 rpm, guaranteeing superior mobility on the most difficult worksites.

 

A POWERTRAIN OPTIMISED TO OPERATE IN THE MOST CHALLENGING ENVIRONMENTS

Renault Kerax gives you the choice of a new ZF Ecosplit 4 to 16 speed gearbox, offering the most appropriate combination of engine torque and mobility, or the Optidriver+ automated gearbox, ideally suited to off-road working and capable of operating in automatic mode in more than 90% of situations.

With their high torques at low engine power, the Renault Kerax DXi engines preserve the powertrain’s robustness while at the same time keeping fuel consumption in check and contributing to lower vehicle operating and maintenance costs.

GEARBOXES

New gearboxes for an optimal combination of payload, lower consumption and smooth driving. Four 16 speed manual gearboxes and two automated 12 speed gearboxes.

3 systems making it possible to increase gear shift smoothness on manual gearboxes :

• Cable control which increases comfort (by filtering vibrations), smoothness and safety: eliminates gears jumping due to movement of the cab in relation to the chassis.
• Servoshift: an assistance system allowing the effort needed for shifting gears to be reduced by 75%.
• Super H which consists of superimposing gears 5 to 8 on top of gears 1 to 4.

To switch from one range of gears to another, the driver simply has to activate the press button on the gearshift lever handle.
The electrovalve protects the system from driver errors when shifting gears.
The gearbox splitter syncro protection prevents inadvertent shifting from a high to a low range of gears. Gear selection is accurate, swift (with short selection travel) and secured (electrovalve).

The Optidriver+ gearboxes are particularly suitable for worksite supply and on-site applications.

POWER TAKEOFF

A wide choice of PTOs are available, electronically controlled for greater reliability and safety :

• Power takeoff on the gearbox.
• Engine rear power takeoff.
• High power PTO between the engine and gearbox.
• Power takeoff on the transfer box.

APM (AIR PRODUCT MANAGEMENT)

Renault Trucks displays innovation with its electronically controlled air management system, Air Product Management. This system offers greater safety, as well as savings in weight, fuel consumption and maintenance:

• Air production is now controlled electronically rather than mechanically for greater safety and quality.
• Production and treatment are optimised.
• Braking power is higher on downhill runs.
• Compressed air is produced outside acceleration phases.

BRAKING

Renault Kerax is fitted with drum brakes and the latest generation Electronic Braking System (EBS 5) as standard.
This is an electronically controlled air braking system which adapts vehicle braking wheel by wheel according to road grip conditions.

EBS Basic+

• ABS - controls the vehicle’s directional stability during emergency stops.
• Emergency braking assistance: optimises braking distance during emergency braking.
• Engine brake management: when changing down gears on wet surfaces, this enables the driver to maintain control of a lightly loaded vehicle by avoiding rear wheel lock.
• Easy Hill Start: allows the vehicle’s brakes to be released without rolling back.
• SR antiskid system: maintains control of the vehicle on slippery surfaces.
• Brake shoe wear balancing system: evenly distributes brake shoe wear between axles so that they can all be changed during a single maintenance operation.

Braking system coupling
Renault Trucks offers the possibility of coupling different braking systems: service brakes and retarders.
This system is controlled by the EBS (Electronic Braking System) or manually by depressing the brake pedal :

• Braking optimisation, adjusted according to axle load.
• Enhanced brake shoe life: wear evenly distributed.
• Fast response time.
• Smooth driving.
• 100% braking capacity is used (engine brakes, exhaust brake, engine retarders and service brakes).

SUSPENSION

Front and rear suspension (normal or reinforced) with shock absorbers and antiroll bar.
Parabolic front suspension with a capacity of 7.1t (tractor), 8t and 9t.
Parabolic rear suspension with a capacity of 13 or 15t for a drive axle. Rear suspension with a capacity of 26t (parabolic) and 32t (semielliptical) for tandems.

MAINTENANCE

Maintenance frequency is adjusted to vehicle usage by means of an engine oil use analysis system.

Maintenance assistance provided by rapid breakdown diagnosis and a predictive display of maintenance and oil drain frequency.

The gearboxes: oil drain frequency maximum of 90,000 to 400,000 km depending on  oil quality and type of application.

Rear drive axles and tandems: maximum oil drain frequency of 120,000 to 400,000 km depending on oil quality and type of application.

Two chassis models, Medium and Heavy, are available for Renault Kerax. In its 8x4 Medium version, Renault Kerax can carry up to 20t, while the vehicle’s 8x4 Heavy version can handle a payload of up to 30t.
